Read and match
Upload, review, save. Never upload and hope.
A tool that fills forty fields and saves them has not removed the work. It has moved the error from typing to trusting — and you find the wrong company name when a client asks why you submitted their competitor's employee.
Why the review step is the feature
The draft exists. The record is not yours until you have looked.
Step one reads the document. Step two puts every value in front of you with a confidence mark and the sentence it came from, and the fields the reader was unsure about are marked rather than smoothed over.
A low confidence you can see is worth more than a high confidence you cannot check.

What the correction is worth
Twice — once here, once next time.
Correcting a field does the obvious thing and one more. The record is right, and the corrected value is what the next extraction in your workspace treats as true. Your clients' odd job titles, the way your market writes a company name, the abbreviations your team uses.
It stays in your workspace. It is not pooled across customers, and nobody else's corrections arrive in yours.
- Your custom fields are filled too —
From the same document, with the same source line — except the ones you classified sensitive, which are never sent to the reader.
- Re-read a newer CV later —
Run it again against the current document rather than editing around a two-year-old record.
- The same shape as the requisition wizard —
One review pattern across the product rather than two to learn.
- Empty beats invented —
A field nothing in the document supports comes back blank. The reader does not guess to look complete.
Worth knowing first
Two limits and a straight answer about duplicates.
›Will it spot that we already have this person?
Not on this path. Creating a candidate from a CV does not check your database first — de-duplication happens where people arrive in volume, on email intake and on careers-page applications, which match on email or phone. If you are loading a batch by hand, that is worth knowing.
›Can we skip the review on a bulk load?
Bulk import is a separate, structured path — a spreadsheet, with a dry run, a preview and a rollback. There is no way to point the product at a folder of PDFs and walk away.
›Does it overwrite something a recruiter already fixed?
No. A correction is recorded as a correction, which is also what makes it useful to the next read.
›Where do our corrections go?
Your workspace only.

Click a field and land on the line it came from. Then correct one, and upload a second CV that makes the same mistake.
