How it works
Threads on the thing they are about.
Messages attach to the requisition or the submission they concern, on both the client portal and the vendor portal. Each side sees unread counts and per-side timestamps — so “they have not come back to us” is a fact rather than an impression.
A reply from either side raises an in-app notification for the other, respecting each user's notification preferences.

›Can our client see our internal discussion?
No. A client thread is a client thread. Internal notes, attribution and the vendor who sourced somebody are excluded from what they can reach by construction, not by a setting somebody could get wrong.
›Do two partner firms on the same role share a thread?
No. A vendor thread is scoped to that firm's own assignment, and a vendor recruiter cannot read a teammate's submission thread either.
›What happens when the person who owns the thread is on leave?
