So the questions that decide next year's calendar — which colleges actually convert, whether the walk-in was worth the Saturday, who ran which batch — are answerable only from somebody's spreadsheet, and only until they leave.
The shape
A drive, with cohorts underneath it.
A drive is an event with its own dates, its own roles and its own kind — and there are five kinds, not one. A campus placement week, an off-campus drive, a hackathon, a referral drive and a walk-in day are genuinely different events with different economics, and calling them all campus is how the comparison gets lost.
Cohorts sit underneath: a college, a batch, the people who passed a test. Each member carries their score and their position in the list, so a cohort stays ordered rather than becoming an unsorted group of names.

The 16:40 batch skipped thirteen. Somebody had already enrolled them — which is a question you can answer, rather than thirteen duplicates.

What this is not
A register, not a bulk-operations product.
We would rather draw this line ourselves than have a demo draw it. Today the drive surface is where the event, the institutions, the cohorts and the scores live, with an audit trail behind every batch.
It is not a bulk pipeline tool. People are enrolled into a cohort in bulk; they are moved through the process one at a time. And enrolment expects people who already exist — the cohort is built from your candidate records, not imported into them.
That is a real boundary, and a season still runs through it, because everybody in a cohort is an ordinary candidate record with the rest of the platform behind them.
Before you plan a season on it
The limits, stated.
›Can we move a whole cohort onto a role or a stage at once?
No. The bulk action enrols people into a cohort. Stage movement is one person at a time. If a thousand-person walk-in is your use case, this is the answer that matters and you should have it before the demo, not during it.
›Can we import a college's list straight into a cohort?
Not from the drive surface. People are enrolled from candidate records you already hold, so the list comes in through the normal import first. Worth planning the order of operations around.
›Does enrolling someone put them in the pipeline?
No — a cohort is a roster, not an application. The two are joined when the person is put onto a role in the ordinary way.
›Is this only for engineering campuses?
No, and the five drive kinds are the reason. A retail walk-in Saturday and a management-institute placement week both fit, and they get compared honestly because they are recorded as different things.
›Where does the comparison across seasons actually show up?
In the institution and tier on the drive, the expected-against-actual intake, and the scores on the cohort members. Those are the fields that survive the person who ran it.
